Small Town Hermit

Once upon a time, I moved all of the posts from Blogger (which changed to something else) to WordPress with grand plans and aspirations, and then a number of things happened which convinced\reminded me that the internet (and especially social media) is often an unsafe and unpleasant place to put information which was remotely personal.

My strong reservations still exist, but I am opening a new chapter of my life which will likely benefit from an increased internet and social media presence, so I am testing the waters.

In addition, I am back to wanting to be able to talk to multiple people at once, and, for better or worse, the internet is where that sort of conversation often takes place. Maybe I am finally a joiner. Or maybe not. Time will tell.
